how could you not reblog this.. wow.
Powerful.
something that honestly pisses me off. These incredible men and women give their lives for our safety but they come home to disrespect, no homes, and a lower salary than that of a US congressman who sits on his ass all day. Honestly without them there would be know us. These pictures hit home, i’ve been to too many armed forces funeral and i’ve been to too many deployments of close family and friends for them to take a back seat to the government that they fight for.
semper fi do or die. please come home safely.^^ Last time I checked, veterans get free education. I also am under the assumption that they get health insurance. People from the Armed Forces get so many perks (which they do deserve, mind you). So I respectfully disagree, they DO get respect.
And yes, this photo is powerful. Siblings are supposed to grow old together… to be there when the other gets married… or to lend a helping hand when the other needs help with the diapers… and bicker with each other when they sit on a rocking chair as their grandkids play outside
